Longreach and Outback Adventure

Carmen has put together a tour to incorporate the soul of Longreach and Outback Adventure – Brisbane tour that starts in Longreach and finishes in Brisbane.

After making your way to Longreach by plane – flights not included – we will collect you from the airport and take you to your accomodation. This evening we will enjoy a welcome dinner together to get to know your fellow travellers. This is a small group tour of just 10 passengers staying in accommodation.

Tour includes breakfast daily, evening meals daily, two lunches and a morning tea.

Highlights of this trip included all the must sees of Longreach. Qantas founders museum, Stockmans Hall of fame, Cobb and Co experience, Nogo Station Experince and Paddlestreamer boat trip with dinner and a show.

We will visit three museums that teach us about the history of Dinosaurs in Australia at the Australian age of Dinosaurs, Richmonds Kronosaurus Korner, Hughendens Flinders discovery Centre.

Mother nature in her glory when we visit Porcupine Gorge. Discover the story of Waltzing Matilda and Banjo Patterson.

Go underground at Mt Isa at the mine and the hospital exhibit. learn about Indigenous foods in the Mt isa gardens, mega fauna and forna at the Riverslea exhibit.

Julia creek offers an insite in the Australian Dunnart, If you love history, you’ll enjoy the Duncan McIntyre Museum, home to countless relics from a bygone era.

At Boulia we see the stonehouse muesum and visit the Min Min Encounter Centre.

The tour concludes this the overnight twin sleeper train taking you from Longreach back to Brisbane.
