Your 7-day Cairns to Darwin outback adventure begins with a scenic climb into the stunning Atherton Tablelands. Here, you’ll enjoy a traditional Devonshire tea overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Barrine before setting off on a peaceful lake cruise.

Continue your exploration with visits to the famous Curtain Fig Tree and the breathtaking Milla Milla and Millstream Falls. Indulge your tastebuds at Mungally Dairy with a delicious cheese platter and locally made ice cream, before unwinding with a refreshing dip at Innot Hot Springs. In Croydon, step back in time with historic steam locomotives and gold mining exhibits before reaching Karumba on the Gulf of Carpentaria. On day three, an early start rewards you with a stop to view the largest crocodile ever recorded before breakfast at the Burke and Wills Roadhouse. Arriving in Mount Isa, you’ll dive into the region’s rich mining history with a guided mine tour and lunch, followed by a visit to the Riversleigh Fossil Discovery Centre and the Mount Isa History Museum.

Day four sees you crossing into the Northern Territory, stopping to explore the fascinating Camooweal Caves before heading towards Tennant Creek. Depending on availability, you’ll stay overnight in Tennant Creek or near the iconic Devils Marbles.
Rise early on day five to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Devils Marbles, one of Australia’s most unique природal landmarks.
