DAY 1: Rainforest from Cairns to Cooktown

Daintree National Park – Cape Tribulation Beach – 4WD Only Bloomfield Track

Journey north along the scenic Great Barrier Reef Drive to the Daintree Rainforest. Highlights include a one-hour Daintree River boat cruise, delicious lunch in a rainforest setting, a guided rainforest walk at the Marrdja Boardwalk, visit Cape Tribulation Beach, travel on the Bloomfield 4WD Track and enjoy a welcome dinner on arrival in Cooktown. Overnight accommodation at the Sovereign Resort.

DAY 2: Explore Cooktown

Lookouts – Guided Walks – Famous Sites

A day to explore Historic Cooktown, including driver-guided foreshore walk, Reconciliation Rocks, Heritage Listed Cooktown Cemetery, James Cook Museum, and the Cooktown Botanic Gardens. Overnight Accommodation at the Sovereign Resort

DAY 3: Outback from Cooktown to Cairns

Diverse Landscapes: Outback to Rainforest – Australia’s Oldest Coffee Plantation

Leaving the coast behind we traverse Outback Queensland, with its arid landscape and giant termite mounds. Stretch your legs along the way at Black Mountain, Byerstown Lookout and the Palmer River Roadhouse. Enjoy the tasty lunch at Skybury Coffee Plantation before visiting Din Din – Barron Falls Lookout in the Kuranda National Park. Our final stop is at Cattana Wetlands for a driver-guided walk in this beautiful nature conservation park before transfers back to Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas.
